Notice of right to opt out of sale / sharing
Merchie does not "sell" your personal information. Our dedicated ad landing pages — /vsl, /vsl-start, /vsl-booking, and /vsl-confirmation — use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure whether our ads lead to demo bookings. When someone completes a genuine Calendly booking through that funnel, we also send Meta a matching server-side conversion through the Meta Conversions API. These tools may send identifiers and internet-activity information (IP address, browser details, Meta click/browser identifiers, page and booking events, and hashed versions of the booking email and phone number when available) to Meta Platforms, Inc. This may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). No other Website flow uses Meta advertising measurement.
Prior to July 2026, we had not sold or shared personal information of any category. Beginning July 2026, the ad landing pages above may share the identifiers and internet-activity categories described here with Meta.
Opt out of sharing with Meta
Opting out here stops the Meta Pixel and revokes any current server-side booking-tracking join for this browser. Browsers sending the Global Privacy Control signal are opted out automatically — see below.
The short-lived booking-tracking record is retained for no more than 90 days. It contains Meta identifiers and request context plus hashed — never raw — Calendly email/phone values after a booking.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends the Sec-GPC: 1 header, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information: both the Meta Pixel and the server-side Meta Conversions API booking path honor the signal and do not send an event.
Your other privacy rights
California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas residents (and residents of jurisdictions with comparable laws) have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or limit our use of their personal information.
- If you have a Merchie customer account (you signed up through a merchant-branded app), open the app and go to Settings to download your data or delete your account. The same rights are available from within the app at any time.
- If you're a merchant operator, contact support from inside your dashboard or email herrisellc@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request."
- If you don't have an account, email herrisellc@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Rights Request" and include the email address you want us to look up.
We respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days; complex requests may take up to 90 days with notice.
Sensitive personal information
California residents have the right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information ("SPI"). Merchie's normal operation does not collect SPI as defined under CPRA. Where any specific feature would collect SPI, we limit use to what's strictly necessary to provide the requested service (booking an appointment, redeeming a reward) and do not use it for any other purpose. Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written permission and verify your identity directly with us before processing.
